Bath's and Birds

Aparently eveyone must have a baby bath shot. I think it is in the rules somewhere. So I didn't want Jemma to miss out. It might count against her when she got to college or something.

And here is Nanna's fav. shot of Ben at 'World of Birds' (which is kind of a misnomer as they do also have monkey's, alpacas and wallabies?!) He likes ducks - probably because he can pronounce it - but it didn't stop him from a goofy look nonetheless.

Benjamin James. . . it's almost time to break out in song...THAT song... you know, the song that was sung to you once before - that is, OFFICIALLY once before.

No, not geluk liewe maatjie, that we will teach you when you are older and come hang more at the Rabe-huis, but the English version...

Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy BIRTHDAY dear BEAUTIFUL BENJAMIN JAMES Tubmannnnnnnnnn,
Happy Birthday to YOU!!!!

Yes, that's right, as godmother I think I have the right to rehearse this over..and over..and over again before 15 August :) Just so that I'm ready!! (I can't WAIT for your bday!)

Love you SO much Ben!!!!! You're our ultimate. And yes, Jemma shares that spot in our hearts now too. But you know you arrived first so there! :)

Oh, "world of birds" - that made me laugh!!
Love the jumper on ben - a cool hoodie

And as Uncle, I can't be done over by not leaving a big happy birthday to you Ben on your blog!

....not sure about that weird africaan's language, but one day when you drop back into Sydney we can start working on that aussie accent.

Actually , we can start that in December.

Happy Birthday Big guy - if I was there I'd bake you a big cake from the Womans Day famous birthday cookbook. You' don't know what that means, but you will one day.
