Surfs up
Last week Friday and Saturday was an early taste of summer. So we hit the beach.Ben had his bucket and beach stuff from his b'day and I rediscovered the joy of sandcastles.I didn't really think he would go for the water the way he did and so I kind of forgot to take his shirt off etc. But he didn't seem to mind. When the waves hot him - he just laughed it off.
Here we go . .
Baptising Ben was good and signifiacnt. As a friend of mine said, we are welcoming Ben from a Christian family into THE Christian family and handing him over in God's hands.Gotta be happy with thatMaybe a little bit of an anti-climax in the sense that Hayley are I were committed to those promises for the last 12 months, and even the 9 months before that. But it's good to get it out in the open to be spured along by the wider family. But we did rope in Meryl and Richardt as godparents which was and is and will be a blessing. You'll catch them below. and below that . . .Fritz stepped up and baptised the little guy. Another great pleasure for us all. He was OS when Ben was born so it was tops he could be a part of Ben's life in this way. Thanks mate, top job!
Ben was baptised on sunday!Pics coming, hang on.For now, just imagine a little baby with a wet head.Scott
It's magic
Remember this?It was one of my all time favs.I found it for Ben the other day on a bargin table. Bargin table?! Can you believe it!Would you find Shakespeare on the bargin table? Homer?Probably.Anyway, we've got moonface and the gang now and in a year or so, when Ben stops trying to eat the books and listen to them instead, it's going to come in prety handy . . . Scott
